The US lenders have released their rate sheets for January. Interest rates are now very low for borrowers. Domestic borrowers can expect interest rates around 2.5% for a 30 year fix depending upon credit. International borrowers can expect interest rates around 5.5% for a 30 year term.

The lenders still offer a variety of programs for borrowers. For those borrowers who are able to verify their income, there are the traditional programs. For those borrowers who do not wish to verify their income, the lenders offer bespoke Debt Service Coverage Ratio mortgages. Some lenders also offer no document programs and will lend upon production of photo ID.
